# Neurun

> Neurun puts everything happening at an event, and around the city hosting it, onto one live map. Visitors can explore the map or ask questions in chat, so they always know what to do next. Founded in 2017 and based in the Boston area, Neurun has focused on map-based technology since 2025, and its concierges are used by event organizers, host cities, and tourism agencies.

Every Neurun experience starts with an interactive map built on Google Maps Platform, which can be embedded on its own in an organizer's website, in apps, or on kiosks. Organizers add the layers an event needs: their own content (schedules, FAQs, and guides), live updates such as road closures and shuttle locations, partner offers, and a chat concierge (conversational AI) that answers questions in more than 60 languages and moves the map to each answer. An organizer's existing data sources are connected to the Neurun concierge platform, which refreshes them routinely, and updates made in the Neurun admin portal go live as soon as they're published.

## What makes Neurun different

- Event routing: marathon courses, parade routes, closed streets, and detours are drawn directly on the map and updated as the event progresses.
- Road closures shared with Google Maps and Waze, so drivers who never open the concierge still see how an event affects their trip.
- Answers come from the organizer's official content and live updates, not only from what is already published online, and every answer is shown on the map.
- The map works on its own; chat and other layers are optional.
- Organizers see page views, unique visitors, sessions, when people use the concierge, what they click, how they use the map, and every conversation.

## Results

- NYNJ World Cup Concierge, May 29 to July 19, 2026: 324,000 page views, 51,246 questions asked by attendees, more than 60 languages supported, and an average session length of 4 minutes 14 seconds. The most-tapped map layer was the city's free LinkNYC viewing kiosks (23,363 taps).
